Resalte Vendimia Seleccionada is a red wine from DO Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Resalte de Peñafiel. The winery is located in Peñafiel (Valladolid), close to renowned estates such as Vega Sicilia and Pago de Carraovejas. Resalte Vendimia Seleccionada is made entirely from Tempranillo. The grapes come from young vineyards, 15 to 20 years old, planted at almost 1,000 metres on the plateau, the highest part of Ribera del Duero. The soil is limestone and the climate has marked contrasts between very hot days and very cold nights. Yields are very low and never exceed 4,500 kg per hectare. To make Resalte Vendimia Seleccionada, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed. They are then placed in tanks for alcoholic fermentation at a low, controlled temperature, followed by maceration lasting 18 to 20 days. After vinification, the wine matures for 10–12 months in 500-litre French oak barrels.

[120
188
161
166
post-10875","vino","type-vino","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","denominazione-di-origine-d-o-ribera-del-duero","invecchiamento-crianza","paese-spain","tipo-di-vino-red
