At Casa Gatti, the landscape, the market, and the pantry change every month. And we cook starting from there. We love to see the passing of the seasons: what blooms, what ends, what returns.
We don't work with a fixed menu: we prefer to cook starting from the product, whatever is at its peak. And so, every visit has something unique about it.

Casa Gatti is a 6-room bed & breakfast in a historic house from 1850 in Motto, in the Blenio Valley (Ticino, Switzerland). In addition to the stay, it offers Mediterranean dinners by reservation on Fridays and Saturdays, yoga classes, well-being treatments, and the rental of the entire house for yoga retreats.
Casa Gatti is run by Debby and Bik. Debby is a yoga teacher and holistic therapist; Bik is the chef: he grew up in his grandmother’s restaurant kitchen and has worked in professional kitchens since 1998, mostly in Mallorca.
Casa Gatti is located at Via Carlo Gatti 1, 6721 Motto (Blenio), in the Blenio Valley, in the north of Canton Ticino. The nearest station is Biasca, 7 minutes away by car, connected by train to Zurich and Milan Malpensa airports.
No. Friday and Saturday dinners, yoga classes, and well-being treatments are also open to those not staying overnight at Casa Gatti, always by reservation.
