Sleeping at Casa Gatti means staying in our home: a historic house from 1850, with the soul of the past… and the comfort of a recent major renovation.
If you are looking for a bed & breakfast in Blenio Valley, you won’t find a hotel here: you will find a different rhythm. You walk more slowly, take off your shoes, breathe and let yourself be enveloped by the quiet of the area.
The Blenio Valley is also called the valley of the sun: its light is part of the experience, from morning until sunset.

When you wake up, come visit us in the dining room; we are sure Bik will be in the kitchen with his things and Debby will be ready to say good morning.
En suite bathrooms or bathroom in the hallway
Three rooms have en suite bathrooms, for those who desire maximum privacy.
The other three have access to a large bathroom in the hallway, reserved exclusively for these rooms: comfortable, spacious and designed to be used with simplicity, without the “shared” feeling typical of standard accommodation.
Bespoke craftsmanship and deep rest
A detail we care about deeply: the rooms are furnished with bespoke handcrafted pieces. Wardrobes and beds were made for us by a carpenter from Zamora, Jesús Pastor (Cake).
The beds are made of red cherry: a warm and quiet wood that gives the room presence and creates a perfect atmosphere for deep rest.

A story of stone and light
In a historic house, rest is different. There is something in the calm of the ancient walls, the solidity of the stone and the way the light enters through the windows that invites you to slow down.
In harmony with the land
In winter, the house stays cozy thanks to underfloor heating, powered by local biomass from the sawmill about 150 meters away. The result is a soft and constant comfort, felt especially in the evening and at night: stable temperature, quiet and a feeling of a real home.
In summer, however, Casa Gatti surprises with its natural freshness: the stone walls maintain a pleasant temperature even when the sun warms the valley all day long. And when you crave water and nature, the river is close by: with natural pools and quiet spots to dive in, it takes very little to enjoy a refreshing swim and return home with the right summer—the light one.

Premium breakfast is included and is served in the Casa Gatti dining room from 7:30 AM on weekdays and from 8:30 AM on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Those departing early can request to have it ready before those times.

By train to Biasca, which is connected to Zurich and Milan Malpensa airports; from Biasca, Casa Gatti is 7 minutes by car or about 12 minutes by bus 131, which stops 30 meters from the house. By car: A2 motorway, Biasca exit.
If you cancel at least 14 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. Between 13 and 7 days before, Casa Gatti may retain up to 50%, and with less than 7 days, up to 100% of the amount.
