Viña Mayor Tinto Roble 2020 is a well-structured red. The nose is intense, with notes of red and black fruit, spices, toast, smoke, liquorice and hints of French oak. On the palate it is light-bodied, with fine tannins and very fresh acidity. Flavours of forest fruits. Long, generous finish.

Out of Viñamayor Roble

Viña Mayor Tinto Roble is a single-varietal Tempranillo red wine from DO Ribera del Duero, produced by the Viña Mayor winery. The grapes are harvested by hand and taken to the winery in 300-kilo crates. After gentle destemming, they are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with frequent pump-overs. Viña Mayor Tinto Roble then rests in American oak barrels before release.
