Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy regulates the conditions of cancellation, modification and refund relating to the services offered by Casa Gatti, managed by La Flotta Sagl.

By making a reservation, the customer declares that he has read and accepted this policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

• stays and overnight stays;
• Bed & Breakfast reservations;
• private dinners;
• private and group lessons;
• wellness treatments and activities;
• yoga retreats;
• workshops, events and experiences organized by Casa Gatti.

2. Cancellation of stays

Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival

In case of cancellation communicated at least 14 days before the arrival date, any amount paid will be refunded in full.

Cancellation from 13 to 7 days before arrival

Casa Gatti reserves the right to retain up to 50% of the total amount of the reservation.

Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival

Up to 100% of the booking amount may be charged.

3. No-Show

In case of no-show without prior notice, the reservation will be considered canceled and the entire amount paid may be retained.

4. Early departure

In case of early departure with respect to the booked dates, Casa Gatti is not obliged to refund the unused nights.

Any exceptions will be assessed individually.

5. Private Dinners and Events

Cancellations must be communicated as soon as possible.

Up to 72 hours in advance

Full reimbursement of any amounts paid.

Between 72 and 24 hours in advance

Up to 50% of the agreed amount may be retained.

Less than 24 hours in advance

100% of the booking amount may be retained.

6. Private lessons and wellness activities

Cancellation at least 24 hours in advance

The lesson or activity can be rescheduled or refunded.

Cancellation within the previous 24 hours

Full payment of the booked service may be required.

7. Yoga retreats, workshops and residential events

These conditions apply to the rental of the whole house for yoga retreats, workshops, and residential events organized by a teacher or organizer.

Deposit and balance

The booking is confirmed with a 30% deposit of the total amount, 45 days before arrival. The remaining 70% is due 15 days before arrival.

Cancellation by the organizer

After confirmation, if the organizer cancels the booking, the following penalties apply:

• from 45 to 15 days before arrival: 70% of the minimum price is due;
• less than 15 days before arrival: the full minimum price is due.

Participant absences

We recommend that the organizer ask participants to have travel insurance, or include it in the retreat package. Last-minute discounts cannot be applied if one or more participants are unable to attend due to illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Depending on the calendar and the situation, Casa Gatti will always do its best to help reschedule the retreat to another date and to credit part of the payment toward a future event.

8. Refund of payments

Any approved refunds will be made via the same payment method used for the original transaction.

The technical crediting times depend on the payment service provider and the customer’s financial institution.

9. Changes to bookings

Requests to change the dates or services booked will be evaluated based on availability.

Casa Gatti cannot guarantee the availability of alternative dates.

10. Cancellation by Casa Gatti

If a service has to be cancelled due to force majeure, security reasons, extraordinary conditions or organisational impossibilities, the customer will be entitled to:

• a full refund of the sums paid; or
• a rescheduling of the service on an agreed date.

11. Force majeure

Casa Gatti cannot be held responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• natural disasters;
• interruptions of public services;
• extraordinary health events;
• restrictions imposed by the authorities;
• unforeseeable events that prevent the service from running.
