La Brecha Finca La Larga is a Tempranillo red from old vines, aged in oak and made by Fedellos do Couto in DO Ribera del Duero, in the south of the province of Burgos, Castile and León. It was created by Curro Bareño and Jesús Olivares, the soul of Fedellos do Couto, a project born in Ribera Sacra in 2013 that has produced several wines featured on the cover of the prestigious magazine Decanter. Now, in a new adventure, they have swapped the Sil valley for the Duero and make La Brecha Finca La Larga together with Cristina Boch and grower Isaac Esteban. The raw material is Tempranillo (also known as Cencibel, Tinta de Toro or Tinta del País) grown at La Larga, a 30-hectare estate in Gumiel del Mercado, and in other villages such as Caleruega, at over 1,000 metres in the south of Burgos. La Brecha Finca La Larga is a fresh, fluid and easy-drinking wine: the ideal way to get started with Ribera del Duero.
