Tasting notes

Ca’n Verdura Supernova Moll 2024 is a white wine that arrives in the glass like a light Mediterranean breeze: fresh herbs, fennel and a hint of aniseed blend delicately, while on the palate it is fresh, clean and precise. The finish, with a bitter touch that surprises without overwhelming, gives it character and makes every sip unique. A wine that is easy to love and knows how to accompany simple moments with a knowing wink of Mediterranean joy.

Out of Ca'n Verdura Supernova Moll

Ca’n Verdura Supernova Moll is a white wine made by Ca’n Verdura Viticultors in Binissalem (Mallorca), DO Binissalem. Ca’n Verdura Viticultors is the personal project Tomeu Llabrés started in 2012 in a small garage in Binissalem. After training as a winemaker in Tarragona, learning all the secrets of the island’s native varieties alongside Francesc Grimalt and completing his training in Priorat, Tomeu found an old garage in Binissalem where he set up his small winery. Ca’n Verdura wines stand out for their strong Mediterranean character and great varietal expression, especially the single-varietal wines from native island grapes, all made from small local vineyards worked with minimal intervention and maximum respect for the terroir and landscape. Supernova Moll is made from Prensal Blanc from a small vineyard on loam-clay soils. The grapes are harvested by hand into 15 kg crates. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks below 18°C. After fermentation the wine stays on its fine lees for 5 months, stirred every 3 days. It is lightly fined and filtered before bottling.
