Tasting notes

Vallegarcía Viognier 2023 is a white wine with aromas of white flowers, chamomile and ripe stone fruit, wrapped in a Mediterranean touch of hay and straw. On the palate it combines freshness and density, with an acidity that keeps it lively and a silky finish that lingers with a very inviting slight bitterness. It is the kind of wine that starts delicately and ends up winning you over with its character – like someone who smiles shyly at first and then charms you for the rest of the conversation.

Out of Vallegarcía Viognier

Vallegarcía Viognier is a white wine from VT Castilla made by the Pago Vallegarcía winery. As its name suggests, it is made entirely from Viognier. The grapes come from vineyards planted at 850 metres in the Montes de Toledo, within the area of influence of Cabañeros National Park. The must first undergoes pre-fermentation maceration at 8°C. Then 80% is fermented in tanks at 15°C and the remaining 20% in barrique, where the wine matures on its own lees. Finally, before release, Vallegarcía Viognier rests for 1 month in bottle to round off.
