The Naia winery, a specialist in DO Rueda wines, currently has six white wines in its portfolio. The youngest of them all is K-Naia – and we promise you will not regret it. This white comes from La Seca in the province of Valladolid, considered the grand cru of the appellation, and is made from Verdejo with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc. That detail makes K-Naia a fresh, very fun wine, ideal for anyone wanting to get into Verdejo. But do not let its carefree character give you the wrong idea: the grapes come from old vines, over 30 years old, planted at 700–800 metres on clay-limestone soils with pebbles. The big temperature swings and drought so common in this area ensure the fresh character that defines the wine. Only the best grapes, after selection, are used for K-Naia. It undergoes pre-fermentation maceration and pressing; the must is then transferred to stainless steel tanks to ferment. Finally, after a short rest on its lees, K-Naia is bottled – the perfect choice to surprise even the most demanding palates.
